World Creativity and Innovation Week (WCIW)

It’s World Creativity and Innovation Week (WCIW) from 15 to 21 April 2016. This is an international annual event to celebrate solving problems in new ways. It’s a time to deliberately generate new ideas and use imagination to make a difference in many ways.

Since its founding in 2001 in Canada, WCIW has grown and is currently celebrated in over 105 communities, businesses and schools across 50+ countries. During WCIW you’re invited to explore your creativity skills and find new ideas at your school, work or anywhere else in your community to help make the world a better place and your place in the world better too.

The idea is to do good during #WCIW, to do something different, inspire new thinking and new action, and help people feel their potential to make a positive difference. Everyone is welcome to take part. WCIW is a time to inspire new action, create novel ideas, make new decisions; to solve problems in new ways, using a new pair of eyes.

WCIW is a do-it-yourself event. It happens where you are.
