GAP’s National Economic Review 2010: Australia’s Annual Growth Summit
Global Access Partners’ inaugural National Economic Review 2010: Australia’s Annual Growth Summit, 16-17 September 2010 brought together more than 116 delegates from government, academia, business, and the civil sector for a cross-disciplinary discussion about how to shape the economic future of Australia.
Deputy Prime Minister and Treasurer, The Hon. Wayne Swan MP launched the Summit with his address to delegates at the Summit’s opening dinner, held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Sydney on Thursday 16 September 2010.
Mr Jonathan Coppel, Economic Counsellor to the Secretary-General Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) delivered the keynote address at the Summit’s plenary session day held at NSW Parliament House on Friday 17 September 2010.
The day consisited of 4 main plenary sessions:

"How do We Get More Bang for Our Buck? Markets, Prices, Competition and the Role of Government"

"The Outlook for Australian Trade in the 21st Century"
"Old and New Sources of Growth: The Roles of Trade and Investment"
