The Australian Government partnered with industry and community groups to hold a National E-security Awareness Week [0] from 6-13 June 2008. The aim of the Week was to help Australians understand e-security risks, and educate home and small business users about how they can protect themselves online.
A range of events was held around the country during the Week, hosted by the Australian Government and its industry and community partners. A number of resources were launched with the Week to help Australians improve their online practices and security of their computers. Most of these resources are available online through the Stay Smart Online website.
