A meeting of minds
Celebrate Creative Ageing Sydney 2015 will take place at Sydney Opera House and the Art Gallery of NSW from 25 to 27 August 2015. It is a new conference to inspire innovative and imaginative ideas about ageing creatively.
The event is organised by The Australian Centre for Arts and Health (ACAH), in association with the Art Gallery of NSW and the Sydney Opera House. The international conference promotes the value of the arts and creative engagement in active ageing. It offers professional development opportunities for Museums and Galleries regarding best practice visual arts programs to support older people.
Supporting conference partners include NSW Department of Family and Community Services, NSW Ministry for Health, Arts NSW, Regional Arts NSW, Local Government NSW, Alzheimer’s Australia NSW, The Whiddon Group, Uniting CareAgeing NSW/ACT and the Baring Foundation UK.
