Meet the makers
Arts Open happens for the second time this weekend (8-10 March) to present an inside view to some extraordinary art studio workings. 70 artists across Castlemaine and the Mt Alexander Shire in Central Victoria will open their studios to discuss their artwork and techniques and allow a glimpse into their personal creative space.
The program of Open Studios includes exhibitions, talks, book signings, a gala evening and lots of other events. The Castlemaine Market Building, located in the heart of Castlemaine, will offer an exhibition showcase for Arts Open.
Open Studios and other exhibitions will take place in and around Castlemaine, including in nearby Taradale, Elphinstone and Maldon.
