iappANZ is hosting a Privacy Summit on 18 November in Melbourne. Key themes are metadata, new technologies and privacy impacts, the politics of privacy and managing privacy.

International and national speakers will address global privacy issues in presentations, panel discussions and breakout sessions. Confirmed keynote speakers are Bojana Bellamy (UK), President, Centre for Information Policy Leadership, Hunton & Williams LLP; Marie Shroff (NZ), privacy thought leader, former New Zealand Privacy Commissioner and iappANZ Privacy Hall of Fame inductee; and Hilary Wandall (USA), Assoc. Vice President, Compliance and Chief Privacy Officer of Merck, a global healthcare company operating in 140 countries.
