A lot of intelligent people have had their say on forums around the world with little effect. An industrial psychologist gave a talk at a meeting of systems analysts in Melbourne many years ago. In it he said that an analysis of successful managers and company leaders showed that the best ones succeeded by making a decision and sticking to it, right or wrong. Things worked out in the long run.

Around the world politicians are giving lip service to climate change and little else. The youth have seen what is happening and are beginning to flex their muscles. I really believe that what we all need is a strong leader, of whatever persuasion, to force us to face the difficult task of changing our lifestyles in order to mitigate the inevitable. I sincerely wish you luck in your endeavors but can’t see a suitable leader in this country.

Today I voted Green in the knowledge that it is too little, too late.
