From the 21 March to 9 June the Biennale of Sydney presents Australiaʼs largest contemporary visual arts event. Held every two years, the Biennale has this time gathered more than 85 artists from 28 countries. There also are artist talks, forums, guided tours and family days.
Artistic director Juliana Engberg has worked with the artists to give each venue a distinctive atmosphere.The Biennale will be staged across Sydney’s CBD as well as Cockatoo Island, the Art Gallery of NSW, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Carriageworks and Artspace in Woolloomooloo. All events are free to the public.
