The Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) is conducting an online consultation on draft national curricula, from Foundation to Year 10, concerning health and physical education, Chinese and Italian language education, design and technologies, and digital technologies.

The draft F-10 Australian Curriculum: Languages for Chinese and Italian will be available for national consultation until 12 April 2013. Further languages are currently being developed for the Australian Curriculum: Languages, along with the Framework for Aboriginal Languages and Torres Strait Islander Languages, and these will be released for consultation later this year.

The draft F-10 Australian Curriculum: Technologies will provide opportunities for students to apply practical skills and processes when using technologies to create innovative solutions that meet current and future needs. The Technologies curriculum also focuses on project management. Students are explicitly taught how to manage projects and apply this knowledge in their projects.

The draft F-10 Australian Curriculum: Technologies be available for national consultation until 10 May2013. Following analysis of consultation feedback the draft curriculum will be revised and available for public viewing from September.
